Penalties are assessed by the Booth. The Booth’s decision is final. The Booth has heard it all before.

| First | Written warning. Filter section disabled for remainder of set. |
| Second | 30-day suspension of all Scene FX. Operator limited to volume faders and humility. |
| Third | Permanent reassignment to the aux cord at the afterparty. Permit surrendered to the Booth. |
| Airhorn | Summary offense. Not a numbered step. Deployment of an airhorn sample, from any source, at any point, results in immediate forfeiture of the permit and of the goodwill of everyone present. There is no first-offense allowance because there is no innocent explanation. |
